Library cards are free for citizens of Bowling Green, Missouri. Proof of address is required - a driver's license or an article of mail are both acceptable. For those residing outside of city limits, individual memberships are $20 per year and family memberships are $40 per year. Individual memberships have a limit of six items checked out at a time, and family memberships do not have limits.
All children under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present when registering for a library card. Children can only check out DVDs with age-appropriate ratings unless they have an adult with them.
